Police said while wearing a yellow Teletubby costume, Owens broke into a home in the 200 block of East Fourth Street and stole Chinese food from the refrigerator.

Police said just before 2 a.m., they were called by several students living at the home. They told police that someone had broken the glass on their rear door and entered the home.

The victims told police the man took Chinese food from the refrigerator and put it into a black purse he was carrying. Police said the man had cut his hand on the broken glass and blood had dripped throughout the home.

Owens was also banging on several doors and had left before officers arrived.
